Winter League 2009/10

Once again we entered 3 teams into the North East's Winter League and whilst there were a lot of scheduling issues due to the weather, most matches were played and enjoyed by all involved.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of the other team captains in thinking all of those involved in playing this year, especially those I dragged out to play half a match in driving sleet!

As a final comment we received a lovely email from the organiser of this tournament this week thanking us for our 'enthusiastic support' and the efficient organisation of our three team captains (he must have been talking about Ian and Jill as I was far from organised!)
