Court Use

Questions specifically about our court facilities.

How many courts are available at the club?
We have 6 outdoor carpeted artificial grass courts in total. 3 of these are floodlit at a cost of £4 per hour (takes £1 coins only giving 15mins light each).

Who can use the courts?
The club is a membership organisation and as such the courts are for the user of it's members.

However, members can invite guests to play as long as they write their names into the guest book and pay their guest fees. This can happen a maximum of 3 times after which we would request the guest to join the club to use the courts again.

The only other time non-members can use the facilities are whilst participating in a coaching session, but they will be charge more for the session than members do.

When can I use the courts?
The club is open 7 days a week from 9am to 10pm (floodlights automatically switch off at 10pm). Non members and juniors should use the non-floodlit courts (1, 2 and 3) and after 6pm if all courts are busy Juniors should give up their courts to full members.

In order to get access to the other courts and the clubhouse you need to use an electronic key card only available to members.

How much does court use cost?
Court use is free to members, apart from use of the floodlights which costs £4 per hour (£1 per 15mins).

Non members can use the courts if attended by a member a maximum of 3 times by signing in as a guest and paying the appropriate fees (the member will collect the fees and hand them into the committee).
